In the Season 2 premiere episode of Livin’ Lozada, “Ever Since I Left the City,” Evelyn, her fiance (LA Dodgers baseball player Carl Crawford) and their 2-year-old son Leo are leaving Los Angeles to move back to Arizona. Evelyn’s 22-year-old daughter Shaniece Hairston isn’t happy about the move. “You have a different agenda now because you have a new family,” Shaniece tells her mother. Shaniece is staying in LA to pursue her modeling career.

While Evelyn struggles to have another baby with Crawford, Shaniece has been posting lots photos of herself with her little brother Leo. In March, Shaniece posted a photo of herself carrying a newborn in a harness with the caption: “Practicing my soccer mom workout skillz.” While the photo was liked by more than 7,000 people, several left comments asking if Shaniece was pregnant. The photo also sparked a debate about baby carriers. One woman, mrsdesantis22, wrote that they’re “terrible for babies hips and knees.” And “can cause hip dysplasia if used often enough.” Tavasquez08 agreed, “I’m an occupational therapist I totally agree. If moms only knew!!! I see a lot of children for Early Intervention smh.” Livin’ Lozada airs Saturdays at 10pm on OWN.
