In the TV movie The Cheerleader Murders, high school student Ellie (Samantha Boscarino) has experienced too much death for a teenager. Shortly after her sister and father were murdered, Ellie’s cheerleading friend Morgan (Hannah Kasulka) turns up dead and her friend Dee (Amanda Leighton) is missing. Thank goodness Ellie has cute football player Nicholas to turn to in her hour of need.

Nicholas is portrayed by Austin Lyon. He’s known for his roles on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Chris), Pretty Little Liars (Matt), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (teenage Grant Ward), and The Goldbergs (Kyle), among others. Lyon is also recognized for his roles in the films The Diary of a Teenage Girl (Ricky), Mortdecai (Hotel Clerk), Divergent (Zipline #1), and Pitch Perfect 2 (Residual Heat Intern). The Cheerleader Murders premieres on Lifetime on April 9 at 8pm. It will air again on April 10 at 12am and 8pm, and April 11 at 12am.
