When Stephanie Boone’s dog Luna suffered from pesticide poisoning (seizures, liver and kidney failure) after receiving a flea and tick treatment, she decided to create a safe, chemical-free line of bug repellent for dogs and cats (and their owners) – Wondercide. The line includes flea and tick sprays for indoor and outside use, shampoos, soap, and a line of repellent and skin care for humans.

Boone will pitch Wondercide on Shark Tank (March 18) where she will need to convince the investors that her products are different from other natural products. The difference? According to the Wondercide website: “Most natural products have a formulation that includes a high percentage of water (97%+) and less than 3% active and inert ingredients. Wondercide’s Flea and Tick Control products are all active (cedar oil) and inert (hydrated silica or ethyl lactate) ingredients and do not contain water.” Wondercide products are available on the website — and there’s a store locator. Wondercide is also available on Amazon. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
