In the TV movie The Perfect Daughter, Martin Parish is the single father of 15-year-old Natalie Parish (Sadie Calvano). She’s a popular girl, at the top of her high school class. But one night, after going to a party with high school hockey player Sam Cahill (Reiley McClendo), Martin finds Natalie walking home alone from the party drunk. Then she becomes unconscious. When Natalie comes to, Martin accuses Sam’s rich father Bruce Cahill (Parker Stevenson) of giving the kids alcohol. That doesn’t go well.
Martin Parish is portrayed by Brady Smith. He’s best known for his roles on Happyland (James Chandler), Criminal Minds (Deputy Marty Bennett), Parks and Recreation (Grant Larson), Hostages (Vice President Jay Grant), and The Closer (Detective McHale), among many others. Fun fact about Smith: He’s married to actress Tiffani Thiessen (Saved By the Bell, Beverly Hills 90210). The Perfect Daughter will premiere on Lifetime on March 26 at 8pm. It will air again on March 27 at 12am and 3pm.
