In the 2 Broke Girls episode “And the Pity Party Bus,” while still in Hollywood, Caroline (Beth Behrs) signs away the rights to her life story. While Caroline is excited to have her story turned into a movie, Max (Kat Dennings) is left heartbroken. During dinner with her Hollywood hunk boyfriend Randy (Ed Quinn), Max gets dumped by Randy’s quirky therapist. That’s right, the therapist delivers the news to Max on Randy’s behalf even though he’s sitting right there.
Randy’s therapist is portrayed by John Michael Higgins. He’s best known for his roles in the films Pitch Perfect (John), We Bought a Zoo (Walter Ferris), Bad Teacher (Principal Wally Snur), Yes Man (Nick), Evan Almighty (Marty), The Break-Up (Richard Meyers), and a number of Christopher Guest films including Best in Show (Scott) and A Mighty Wind (Terry), among many others. 2 Broke Girls airs Thursdays at 9:30pom on CBS.
