On the Grey’s Anatomy episode “Odd Man Out,” a 70-something man named Griffin McColl (Lance Henriksen) is brought to the hospital after a terrible accident. He was operated on after suffering from brain bleeding. When the doctors update Lena (Jamie Rose), who they believe is Griffin’s wife, Griffin’s real wife Gayle (Rita Moreno) walks in and declares,“I don’t want to see him until he’s dead.”
Griffin is portrayed by Lance Henriksen. The veteran actor is best known for his roles in the films The Terminator (Detective Hal Vukovich), Alien (Bishop), and The Right Stuff (Wally Schirra). He more recently appeared on The Blacklist as Bill “Bud” McCready. Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC.
