La’Porsha Renae is one of the Top 4 contestants competing on the fifteenth and final season of American Idol. She’s known for a lot of things including having an amazing voice, being a single mom, and for her big hair. After singing the emotional Mary J. Blige song “No More Drama,” La’Porsha said “it was like a purge for me…and I wanted to purge everything.” That includes her signature hairstyle.
On March 31, La’Porsha will sport a new hairstyle — long, light curls. La’Porsha reassures her fans, “My afro is still there.” La’Porsha will vie for a slot on the Top 3 against Dalton Rapattoni, Mackenzie Bourg, and Trent Harmon on American Idol on Thursday at 8pm on FOX.
