The Lifetime TV movie Manson’s Lost Girls tells the story of Linda Kasabian (Mackenzie Mauzy) and the other young women including Susan Atkins who joined cult leader Charles Manson’s “family.” In August 1969, the Manson family went on a killing spree that became known as “Helter Skelter” which included the brutal death of actress Sharon Tate and her unborn baby. Atkins (aka Sadie Mae Glutz, Sexy Sadie) was found guilty of participating in eight of the killings. She died in prison at the age of 61.
