Massage Heights is a family-owned company based in San Antonio, Texas with 94 massage “retreats” throughout North America. When co-founder and COO of Massage Heights, Shane Evans, agreed to go on Undercover Boss, she told the person working on her disguise that she needs to look like a “stay-at-home mom from the Midwest.” The result is bizarre. “Tracy” wears a bouffant kind of hairdo with a flower stuck on the side and rhinestone studded glasses. When Evans revealed her new “Tracy Reynolds” look to her family, her daughter nailed it by exclaiming: “You look crazy.”
On the job, “Tracy” asked a lot of questions and heard a lot answers she wasn’t happy to hear. Most involved outdated computers and the company’s line of lotion which wasn’t used at some of the Retreats because according to some, it is “terrible.” CNBC re-airs Undercover Boss episodes on Saturdays at 8pm.
