Grease: Live is a TV adaptation of the 1971 American musical Grease which was made into the 1978 movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. In the 3-hour live TV broadcast, Dancing with the Stars’ triple-threat Julianne Hough plays Sandy (Newton-John), and Aaron Tveit plays her high school love interest Danny (Travolta).

Aaron Tveit is best known for his roles on Graceland (Mike Warren), Gossip Girl (Trip van der Bilt), and in the 2012 film Les Miserables (Enjolras). You can see Tveit next in the film Undrafted which is written and directed by Joseph Mazzello (Jurassic Park, The Social Network), who also stars in it. Tveit’s co-star from Gossip Girl, Chace Crawford, will also appear in Undrafted which is based on the life of Mazzello’s college baseball-playing brother who was skipped over in the Major Leagues. Grease: Live will premiere on January 31 at 7pm on FOX.
