The Critics’ Choice Awards are presented every year by the Broadcast Film Critics Association. There are 29 categories including Best Action Movie, Best Comedy, Best Family Film, Best Makeup and Best Young Performer, among others. The 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road leads in nominations at the 21st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards which will be broadcast on A&E, Lifetime and LMN on January 17 at 8pm.
The host of the show is comedian T.J. Miller. The 34-year-old from Denver, Colorado is also recognized as an actor. He stars in HBO’s Silicon Valley as Erlich Bachman. Or you might recognize his voice from the How to Train Your Dragon movies (he’s Tuffnut Thorston). In 2015, for his role on Silicon Valley, Miller won the Critics’ Choice Televsion Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
