Jordan Sasser and his wife Alex Sasser both auditioned for the fifteenth and final season of American Idol. At the Atlanta audition Alex sang first (with a pink ukuleke) while just feet away Jordan held their adorable baby daughter, which was distracting. And then Jordan performed while Alex looked at him lovingly. After the auditions, when Jordan received a golden ticket and Alex didn’t, a tense moment was caught on camera. Alex said Jordan was too much of distraction during her audition. The day after their auditions they were interviewed by Good Day Atlanta, where Alex admitted, “Of course I was sad. It was a hard day.”
“Life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows,” Jordan jumped in. He explained that he’s glad America got to see a real husband and wife moment. “Unfortunately Satan is just as real as God, and he wants to bring us down. And you know what, he tried to get us…but the next day we were good.” American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
