Solomon Fallas is the inventor and entrepreneur behind 180Cup. The product looks very similar to the ubiquitous, disposable Solo plastic cups seen at keg parties, but the 180 Cup has a dual function. It can hold 16 ounces of beer just like a Solo but if you flip it over (180 degrees) it also serves as a shot glass. Solomon went on Shark Tank to pitch the party product. Solomon made a mistake in ignoring Daymond John’s hard initial offer. When everyone else went out, John told Solomon, “You know you’re gonna have to pay for that.” John changed the offer. They settle for $300K for 25 percent.

Since Shark Tank, the 180 Cup brand has expanded its line to include red disposable flasks and soon it will release a glass version of the 180 Cup which holds 9 oz. and 1.5 oz. shots and costs $19.99 (see photo below). But when Solomon gets a visit from John on Beyond the Tank, John isn’t pleased. Beyond the Tank airs Thursdays at 8pm on ABC.
