On the Mom episode “Sawdust and Brisket,” while Bonnie (Allison Janney) tries to settle things with her nemesis in the building Beverly (guest star Amy Hill), her daughter Christy (Anna Farris) jumps to conclusions when she gets a text from her daughter Violet (Sadie Calvano) that reads: “Coming over. Need to talk.” Violet says she just wants to spend more time with her mother, which makes Christy happy, but when Violet and her fiance Gregory come over for dinner, things turn tense.
Gregory is portrayed by David Krumholtz. The native New Yorker is best known for his roles on The Good Wife (Alicia’s campaign manager Josh Mariner), Men at Work (Myron), The Newsroom (Dr. Jack Habib), The Playboy Club (Billy Rosen), and last but not least, Numb3rs (Charlie Eppes). Mom airs Thursdays at 9pm on CBS.
