Angelika Graswald is the 35-year-old blonde who is accused of killing her 46-year-old fiance, Vince Viafore, while kayaking in the Hudson River in April 2015. Viafore, who wasn’t wearing a life jacket, drowned. The prosecution says Graswald tampered with Viafore’s kayak and paddle causing him to sink and drown. Graswald is being held in an upstate New York jail on $9 million bond while she awaits her trial which is scheduled to start next spring.

Graswald says she is innocent, even though during her interrogation she told police, “I wanted him dead and now he’s gone. And I’m okay with it.” Graswald says she “just told them what they wanted to hear.” During the videotaped interrogation, Graswald was seen practicing yoga, which many found odd. “I didn’t sleep for like four nights prior to that. I was exhausted. I was hungry. I was just out of it,” Graswald tells ABC’s Elizabeth Vargas. “What would you do? Like, they don’t give you a rulebook on what to do.” Vargas’ interview with Graswald will air on 20/20 on November 6 at 10pm.
