Talking with Jimmy Kimmel about struggling GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush, Hillary Clinton expressed gleeful compassion for Bush’s campaign. Bush has tried a relaunch recently with a new tagline, “Jeb Can Fix It!” Unfortunately, many thought immediately that the tagline referred to Bush’s campaign, which is in disarray. What Bush really meant was that he can fix the broken US government.
“It’s really hard to do this and people’s campaigns change,” Hillary said. But Hillary, who has seen up-close a former southern governor like Bush win the presidency, also said of Bush: “He’s a very accomplished man and he is out there making his case.” She followed it up with a little insight into her own daily life as well as Bush’s: “Running for president is really hard. Let me break that to you: it’s really hard and you know some days are better than others. I know that from personal experience.”
