In the TV movie Driven Underground, Christy Palmer goes for a jog in the woods when she witnesses a murder. Unfortunately, she gasps loudly when she sees the execution. The killer runs after her but Christy outruns him. She identifies the killer in a lineup which doesn’t please his mob associates. They threaten to kill her if she testifies. Christy’s mother Sarah steps in and takes Christy to Oregon where they believe they will be safe by living completely off the grid. Fat chance of that, Mom!

Sarah Palmer is portrayed by Kristy Swanson. Christy is portrayed by Emily Tennant. The Canadian-born Tennant is best known by Americans for her role on Cedar Cove (Cecilia Rendall). She has also appeared in the films Juno, I, Robot, and Mr. Young. Driven Underground will air on LMN on October 31 at 8pm, November 1 at 12am, and November 2 at 4pm.
