In the TV movie Are You My Daughter?, after the daughter of Laura and Richard Paddington is abducted, the married couple divorce. Seventeen years pass until Laura believes she has found their daughter, Zoe. When Laura reintroduces her ex-husband to Zoe, Richard doesn’t see the resemblance. He doesn’t believe this Zoe is their Zoe.

Richard Paddington is portrayed by Mike Dopud. The Canadian-born actor is best known for his roles in Cedar Cover (Roy McAfee), Mistresses (Olivier Dubois), Smallville (Security Guard George), and Battlestar Galactica (Crewman Specialist Gage). Dopud has also appeared in the films X-Men: Days of Future Past, Man of Steel, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol
