BarkEm’s – What Happened To The Pre-Packaged Pet Meal Company?

Blake St. Clair is the young man who invented BarkEms – a line of portable pet meals. They’re designed for pet owners who are tired of bringing bowls and bags of dog food for their pooches while traveling and enjoying the great outdoors. BarkEms not only uses “neutral dog food” that’s easy on a dog’s tummy but the containers are also recyclable. Three sizes were designed: 12 oz (for large dogs, 55 lbs. and up); 6.5 oz (for 30-55 lbs. dogs); and small 4 oz. (for 30 lbs. and lighter). The problem is trying to find BarkEms to buy.

You can’t buy them on the BarkEms website — the “add to cart” feature is currently broken. However, there are alternatives available on Amazon. It doesn’t come with food but Kurgo Wander Pail is a combination of a pet food container and travel bowl all in one. It has a screw-on lid and handle — easy for toting around — and it’s insulated for raw food diets. Also dishwasher safe.
