Marvel is teasing its fans with “a premiere announcement” regarding its new TV series on Netflix, Jessica Jones. The 54-second video doesn’t reveal actress Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad, Don’t Trust the B—- In Apartment 23) as Miss Jones but it does reveal her office, Alias Private Investigations. Jessica Jones appeared as a regular character in the 2010-2013 New Avengers series. She went to the same high school as Peter Parker. She was there when he was bitten by the spider.
Not all Marvel fans are familiar with Miss Jones but that won’t stop them from watching. As Nathan Drake wrote: “I have no idea who Jessica Jones is but after what Netflix did with Daredevil I’m really excited for this J.” If the show is a success, Disney CEO Bob Iger said she could warrant her own feature film. Jessica Jones the TV series will premiere on Netflix on November 20.
