Aisha Tyler Wears Pixie Wig For ‘Criminal Minds’

On the Season 11 premiere of Criminal Minds, forensic psychologist Dr. Tara Lewis helps the team search for a serial killer who leaves distinctive marks on victims’ faces. Lewis is portrayed by Aisha Tyler. She’s best known for her TV roles on Archer (Lana Kane), Ghost Whisperer (Andrea Marino), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Mia Dickerson), 24 (Marianne Taylor), and Friends (Charlie Wheeler). She’s also known as the host of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and The Talk.

For the character of Dr. Lewis, Tyler wears a pixie cut wig. Tyler told TV Guide: “I’m just too much of a wimp to cut my hair short in real life. I’ve always wanted to do it, but I’m too much of a puss, so this was an easy way to get a short haircut without having to commit to it.” Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CBS.
