English actress Scarlett Byrne just got engaged to Hugh Hefner’s 23-year-old son, Cooper Hefner. But weeks prior to that, the Harry Potter actress (Pansy Parkinson) got more good news. She’s joined the cast of The Vampire Diaries. In season 7, she will play one of the three new sexy heretics who were recently released from the prison world.
Byrne’s character is Nora who’s in a relationship with Mary Louise (Aussie actress Teressa Laine). Together they’re desribed as “a dark power couple who like to create chaos.” Although from the outside Nora appears cute in a tomboyish way, she is “less interested in coexisting with the residents of Mystic Falls and more excited by retaliation and mayhem.” The Vampire Diaries will return October 8 at 8pm on The CW.
