OKC Thunder star Russell Westbrook grabbed a lot of attention last year during his maniacal scoring stretch after his MVP teammate Kevin Durant went down with an injury. Forgotten sometimes is that Westbrook’s dominance included not just big scoring numbers but consistent triple-doubles, which means he was giving the ball up to teammates too.

Apparently that generosity is so ingrained in Westbrook that even when told to score for USA Basketball, the man can’t stop looking for the open man. Even if that open man is just a coach helping run a drill. Westbrook’s Team USA teammates LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony understand the drill. It’s called two-dribbles-and-score. Westbrook gets the two dribble part right. James and Anthony get a kick out of it below.
