Actor Graham Patrick Martin is best known for his role as Rusty, the homeless kid murder witness who first appeared on The Closer and then gets adopted by Captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) on Major Crimes. Martin’s next big role is in James Franco’s biopic Bukowski. Franco writes and directs as Josh Peck (Drake & Josh) takes the lead role as the writer Charles Bukowski. Martin plays Bukowski’s loyal friend William “Baldy” Mullinax, the one who introduces Bukowski to alcohol.
[Who Is Judge Ryan on ‘Major Crimes’?]
Baldy is depicted as Eli Lacross in Bukowski’s semi-autobiography 1981 novel Ham on Rye. It’s described as offering “a crude, brutal, and savagely funny portrait of an outcast’s coming-of-age during the desperate days of the Great Depression.” No word yet on the release of Bukowski which was set back after Franco was sued for copyright infringement.
