With a bunch of men bickering on the FOX stage at the GOP debate, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton spent her hours in LA — raising money and keeping up with the Kardashians. It was the first meeting between Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, ex-wife of Caitlyn, and Hillary Clinton — according to Jenner’s post. She called it an honor to meet the former First Lady. Selfies with Kim and Kanye obviously also followed. And no doubt the Kardashians wrote Clinton a few big checks. That’s what she’s there for.
The commenters on Kris Jenner’s page weren’t as thrilled as Jenner herself professed to be. There were nice things like “Two amazing boss ladies.” But “So disgusting” and word about Clinton’s being “GMO Queen of Monsanto” dominated the more than 2,000 comments. “Wow bad move unfollowing.” “Just awful.” Seems both Clinton and Kardashian fans were disappointed in their own ways. Kris Jenner commenters called Clinton all sorts of names. But it’s presumably a Clinton follower who writes: “Desperate to get any votes. Talk about dumbing down.” Seems off-brand for everybody involved. But then again, there are those checks.
