Global ambassador for Wildlife Warriors and Bindi Irwin love interest Chandler Powell is most at home on his board. But the 18-year-old professional wakeboarder is pretty good on Skype and Snapchat, too, apparently. Because those are the main links he uses to keep his transnational love affair alive: Powell is a Florida guy, while Bindi Irwin lives — where else? — in Australia. Powell knows how to go the distance though. In his first year of pro wakeboarding he traveled to China, Abu Dhabi, the Philippines, Australia and Thailand.
That’s one of the qualities that helps Powell attract sponsors, no doubt. The young wakeboarder/entrepreneur is sponsored by Liquid Force, LooseKid Industries, Smith Optics, Muscle Milk, McCormick’s Cable Park, and SOS — according to his Instagram. And the wildlife lover and conservationist — a perfect match for Bindi Irwin in that regard — isn’t just talking the talk. Powell walks the walk: for pets Powell has two dogs, a prairie dog, and a ball python.
