The New York Times is often derided as a bastion of the “liberal media.” President Obama claims the liberal title for himself, no conjecture necessary. But the Times recently went beyond Obama, offering a radical change to a time-honored tradition. No, not tax increases for the rich — but peas in the guacamole.
Yup, the Times published a recipe that suggested peas were a nice ingredient to toss into homemade guac this summer. Obama drew the line, going totally conservative on the guacamole debate. GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush also said no peas, but then he’s expected to be conservative.
respect the nyt, but not buying peas in guac. onions, garlic, hot peppers. classic. https://t.co/MEEI8QHH1V
