Runner up on The Voice Meghan Linsey will perform “Freeway of Love” on PBS’s televised Fourth of July show, “A Capitol Fourth.” Linsey sang the song on live TV before, with her Voice mentor Blake Shelton. Based on video from Linsey’s dress rehearsal on the West Lawn of the US Capitol, it looks like Linsey is going to have much more fun singing the Aretha Franklin song with the NSO Gospel Choir.
The National Symphony Orchestra formed a gospel choir in 1991. Linsey posted the above photo on her Facebook page with the caption: “This choir is insane!”
