In the TV movie A Sister’s Nightmare, Jane Rydert is a police officer raising her sister’s daughter. Her sister Cass has spent the past 16 years in a psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane. Trouble ensues when Cass shows up at her sister’s house. She wants to get her daughter back. Cass seems “normal” from the outside so it’s difficult for Jane to convince others that Cass is still dangerous.
Jane is portrayed by Kelly Rutherford. She’s best known for her roles on Gossip Girl (Lily van der Woodsen) and Melrose Place (Megan lewis Mancini). A Sister’s Nightmare will be LMN, June 21 at 6pm and on July 25 at 4pm.
