Speech pathologist Cheryl Rigdon used to get annoyed when she wasn’t able to scoop out the last bits of expensive makeup and lotion from the bottom of containers — so she came up with a solution. She created the perfectly sized tool for the job, the 6” long spatula, Spatty. For other jobs like retrieving the last delicious peanut butter from a jar, she designed a companion tool, the Spatty Daddy (12”).

Ridgon pitched her product on Shark Tank but didn’t get a deal. However, she did win the attention of Daymond John, who has advised her. The Spatty is now available pretty much everywhere – Bed Bath & Beyond, Walgreens, Target, Amazon, and of course on the Spatty website. The 6” Spatty goes for $5.49. The Spatty Daddy goes for $5.99.
