The enormously likable 20-year-old American tennis star — a one-time child phenom who’s now ranked in the Top 20 — also likes grass court season. Last year she earned her first WTA title on the grass at the AEGON International, generally considered the chief warm-up for Wimbledon. She rode that momentum into the third round at Wimbledon. (Keys also made the 3rd round in 2013.) This year she’s coming off a third round exit at the French, after making the semifinals at the Australian. Keys is starting to look like her first Grand Slam title might not be too far off. Wimbledon begins June 29.
