Rayvon Owen earned four saves on American Idol but, alas, he didn’t make it to the Top 3. Winning fourth place isn’t bad. He’ll go on the 2015 American Idol Tour with the Top 3 and fifth place singer Tyanna Jones. Rayvon is already excited about his forthcoming pop record. “It’s going to have the raw emotion of Sam Smith or John Legend, but with the pop edge of a Katy Perry,” said Rayvon.
He added, “I’m a storyteller. I want to make people cry. I want to make people laugh, I want to make people dance.” He sure does have experience making people cry. Rayvon’s favorite performance on Idol, Justin Bieber’s “Believe,” brought down the house as it was dedicated to his mother.
