On Modern Family, Phil and Claire go out to dinner with their neighbors Ronnie and Amber–and they’re surprised by how much fun they have. Ronnie is portrayed by Steve Zahn. He’s best known for his roles in films including Dallas Buyers Club, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy, and Reality Bites with Ben Stiller. Or maybe you recognize him from Treme (Davis McAlary). Zahn is currently working on Captain Fantastic with Viggo Mortensen. Bonus info: Zahn’s a Harvard graduate.
Amber is portrayed by Andrea Anders. She’s best known for her roles in About a Boy with Mimi Driver, Mr. Sunshine with Matthew Perry, Joey with Matt LeBlanc, and The Class with Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.
