They’ve had at it before, Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway–they faced the devil herself. The Devil (who) Wears Prada anyway. But now the awesomeness that is Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle will pit Blunt against Anne Hathaway on stage in a giant lipped war of mimicry mastery.
Could Lip Sync Battle have chosen two actresses with more expressive lips? Lips are the metier of the contest, after all. It’s in the name. Angelina Jolie’s lips are exclusive and don’t compete. Jessica Alba vs. Scarlett Johansson? Megan Fox vs. Amanda Seyfried? Maybe. Blunt will perform Janis Joplin as one of her two numbers. Hathaway embodies, yup, embodies “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus.
