Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is absolutely pissed that his teammate outhustled him (see below) to score a goal in a 3-0 victory. You read that right–Ronaldo shook his head in disgust because his teammate, Alvaro Arbeloa, scored his first goal of the season in a win.
Ah, the life of a superstar so used to deference that he expected Arbeloa to lay back and let Ronaldo get the goal. Ronaldo leads Lionel Messi by just a goal in his effort to win the Pichichi Trophy, which goes to La Liga’s top scorer. Ronaldo has 39 goals, but was just a teammate’s triumph away from 40. Ronaldo’s contract will pay him a big bonus for winning the Pichichi. And the individual takes another step toward ruining the team ideal in the 21st century.
