Rayvon Owen is still on American Idol. Last week he and Daniel Seavey were on the bottom. “Rayvon got saved by the skin of his big smiley teeth,” said music mentor Scott Borchetta. Things aren’t looking great for Rayvon. Borchetta added: “I’m tired of saying it, dude — it’s like, come with it.” Owen has been accused of not really learning anything on the show. He keeps singing and performing the same way over and over again. There’s no evolution.
The one thing that is on Rayvon’s side this week (April 8, 8pm on Fox) is that the Twitter save is back. Rayvon is spreading the word on Twitter and Facebook. His fans are ready. Laura Leigh Russell wrote that she just set up a twitter account to vote for him. And Heather Monlux wrote: “Someone on the East Coast needs to post ASAP if Rayvon is in bottom two again so we can tweet. Us West Coast peeps don’t see the show in time to do anything.”
