On Once Upon a Time, Mary Margaret (Snow White) and David (Prince Charming) are desperate to find a way to ensure that their child Emma “retains her goodness.” In the Enchanted Forest, they meet a peddler who tells them to visit a “kindly old hermit” who might help. Is the peddler well-intentioned? It’s hard to tell. While he’s described as “an arrogant man with reckless impulses,” he is right, the hermit can help.
The peddler is portrayed by Patrick Fischler. He’s best known for his TV roles on Californication (Gabriel), Southland (Det. Kenny ‘No-Gun’), Lost (Phil), and Nash Bridges (Pepe). He recently had a recurring role on Shameless (Wade Shelton), too. Or you might recognize him from the movies — Speed, Old School and Mulholland Drive. Or from the red carpet — he’s married to actress Lauren Bowles (True Blood). You’ll be seeing more of the peddler on Once Upon A Time, which airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
