Last year comedian Jay Mohr made a joke about actress Alyssa Milano’s body. At the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion’s Awards where he was one of the presenters, Mohr said, “It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s**t’…I read it on her gut … Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.’” The post-baby fat shaming jab backfired. Mohr ultimately apologized saying “it was a failed attempt at a joke” and said he was “embarrassed he didn’t think before he spoke.” Milano kept it classy and “wished him well” and offered her regards to his “beautiful wife,” Nikki Cox.
Mohr is currently performing astand-up routine about his marriage with Cox and raising their new son.It’s called “Jay Mohr: Happy. And A Lot” and it airs on March 14 at 10pm on Showtime. You can bet Milano won’t tune in.
