On the series finale of Fox’s “Red Band Society,” there will be tears. Executive producer Rina Mimoun told TV Line, that Anorexia Nervosa patient Emma (portrayed by Ciara Bravo) will have “a very real confrontation” with her mother. Mimoun said “I know so many people who struggled with that disease – I felt that was the one that I needed to take further. And once we got to that emotional breakthrough with her mom in Episode 10, we knew that we needed to bring mom back.”
Emma’s mother, Caroline Chota, is played by Marin Hinkle. If she looks familiar it’s because you’ve watched at least one episode of Two and a Half Men (she played Alan Harper’s ex-wife Judith) and she currently has a reoccurring role on the CBS new hit drama, Madam Secretary.
