Just nine months into her marriage, Linda Curry became ill. No one knew what caused her mysterious illness or what lead to her death just a year after marrying Paul Curry in 1994. Twenty years later, Paul Curry, now 57 years old, is facing trial in Southern California. He is accused of poisoning Linda with an injection of nicotine.
After her death, Paul cashed in on a $400,000 insurance payout, moved to Kansas and remarried. It took years for the authorities to link Curry to the fatal levels of nicotine eventually found in Linda’s system. (She was a non-smoker.) Paul Curry has pleaded not guilty. If he is found guilty, he will face life in prison.
