So far 35,771 IMDB (Internet Movie Database) users–and counting–have given Seth Rogen’s The Interview a 10 out of 10 rating. Many more today will give the movie perfect marks, even sight unseen. Hey, even if it’s terrible and nobody really enjoys it, The Interview is going to make more than a couple of “most influential” movie lists–maybe of all time. The aftermath of its making is sure to change the film industry in ways we have yet to know.
At Rotten Tomatoes, with its Tomatometer ranking every film in history, The Interview gets a 96% “want to see” rating. That’s about as high as a movie gets. Iron Man didn’t do so well as that. Which just proves something humans have know at least since Eve saw the apple–whatever you can’t have looks pretty appealing.
