Kim Kardashian is in prison. In France. No, not really, but sort of. Nabilla Benattia, the French Reality TV star often referred to as the French Kim Kardashian, is charged with attempted murder after she stabbed her boyfriend, Thomas Vergara. 22-year-old Benattia is sitting in a cell by herself after she was designated “a sensitive prisoner” because her fame and high-flying lifestyle could cause jealousy among the other inmates. As RTL reports, “her fellow inmates do watch television.” Vanity Fair comments “Benattia has been an inescapable presence in France, where she is widely referred to as la Kim Kardashian française—the French Kim Kardashian. Like Kardashian, Benattia has long, dark hair, is curvaceous, and is utterly inescapable in the media.”
Benattia is a self-confessed admirer of Kardashian, and the two have even met. Who knows what they discussed? Perhaps the French Benattia offered Kardashian tips on how to support a bottle of champagne avec votre derrière.
