Ravens running back Bernard Pierce called the police after discovering that someone had broken into his home. Rumors spread on social media that he was kidnapped or held hostage. Pierce said such rumors were “nonsense.” He declined to specify what exactly was stolen from his home. It is an active case begin handled by the Franklin Precinct of the Baltimore County Police Department.
It’s not the first time Pierce has been the victim of a robbery. In 2013, while driving his BMW sport utility vehicle, he was the victim of a carjacking and armed robbery at gunpoint in his hometown of Philadelphia. Pierce was unharmed.
