In January 2014, adult film star Christy Mack and her boyfriend, professional MMA fighter Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver posed together for a nude pictorial for Hustler Magazine. But then something went wrong. In August, it was reported that Mack and a male associate were allegedly assaulted by Koppenhaver in her Las Vegas home. Koppenhaver was arrested and charged with several counts of battery, including by strangulation, as well as assault with a deadly weapons, coercion by force and “open and gross lewdness,” according to a news release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Mack suffered 18 broken bones, a ruptured liver and other injuries. After a long silence on Instagram, this week Mack posted a couple of selfies of her healing face. “I’m starting to breathe out of my nose again.”
