George Rettas is Managing Director, Global Head of Cyber Intelligence, Investigations, and Incident Response at JPMorgan Chase, in New York City. Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase, Rettas was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service in the Newark Field Office. He co-founded the region’s Electronic Crimes Task Force.
According to Security-Innovation.org: “He is the author and affiant of the first Title III Wire Tap on the an Internet-facing computer network in the United States history and he has worked the most prolific criminal investigation in the history of the Secret Service in “Operation Firewall.” In 2003-2004, Operation Firewall broke a global cyber organized crime network which led to the arrests of 28 individuals involved in credit card fraud and identity theft over the Internet.
