ABC News’ 20/20 correspondent Matt Gutman goes head to head with doctors who owe the government thousands of dollars in student loans. In his investigative report which airs October 24 at 10pm, Gutman tracks down Brooklyn dentist Sammy Saadia who owes $156k, and podiatrist Demi Turner of Montclair, New Jersey who owes almost $700,000!
In a desperate effort to get the doctors to pay, the US Department of Education has published a public list of the 846 doctors and dentists in 43 states who are guilty of not paying off their student loans.
