After 18 seasons on Dancing With the Stars, professional dancer Cheryl Burke told TV Guide that this season will likely be her last. She won the Mirrorball with Drew Lachey in Season 2 and with Emmitt Smith in Season 3. This season she’s stuck with stiff Antonio Sabato, Jr. So maybe that’s where her bitterness is coming from. Last week, when she had the chance to switch partners and dance with the crowd pleasing Alfonso Riberio (Carlton of Fresh Prince of Bel Air), she dissed him as a dancer.
When asked what the biggest difference was between working with Antonio and Alfonso, Cheryl said: “With Alfonso, I think he has a lot of – I wouldn’t say professional dance background, but he definitely has a background where he’s been taught choreography before. He’s done some tap dancing in his past.” Some tap dancing?! Riberio starred in the Broadway show The Tap Dance Kid, and wowed everyone with his performance at the 1984 Tony Awards. Take a look…
