Rumors about America’s favorite lesbian couple, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, divorcing have been circulating for a while now. But the married couple of six-years are reportedly “patching things up.”
Now that Ellen has been honored with the prestigious Mark Twain Prize at The Kennedy Center and continues to fuel her popular daily TV talk show, it’s time for Portia to get a new job. Arrested Development was an incredible ride for the actress who played Lindsay Bluth Funke with aplomb, but what’s next for the blonde beauty? Recently, Portia returned to her native land, Australia, to film the uplifting funny film, Now Add Honey, which will be released in 2015. Portia will play the mother of teen pop-star Honey Halloway (played by Lucy Fry of Vampire Academy) who returns home for a stay in the suburbs. It turns out Honey’s family isn’t as normal as she once thought. But Americans would like to see the other half of this famous couple–the Portia half–back on TV more regularly.
