With their awesome (we just know it is) movie The Interview pushed back to a Christmas Day release, James Franco and Seth Rogen are taking their movie characters straight to the people. SONY Pictures is busy deciding just how much it’s willing to piss off Kim Jong-un with its parody, but Rogen and Franco are ready for their close-up already. So they’ve decided to try a different platform. Want to meet Dave Skylark (Franco) and Aaron Rapoport (Rogen)? Try MTV this weekend. On Sunday, August 17 at 9 p.m., Franco and Rogen will be in character interviewing Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea and Jason Derulo.
Hopefully everyone will be safe. In the movie Franco and Rogen play an entertainment journalist and producer charged with assassinating the real life North Korean (dear) leader during an interview. Franco really digs into the role.
