If you’re into celebrity break-ups then the first thing you need to know is who dumped who. Without that, what’s the sense? It’s hard to get comfortable in your seat on the sideline of someone else’s broken marriage unless you’re close enough to hear the juicy parts. Fortunately in the case of Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon is helping out by shouting It’s Mariah who’s got problems! I dumped her! That’s the “exclusive” word from TMZ and look, TMZ knows. It’s definitely got some Mariah stuff in its vault.
Citing sources TMZ says are “connected with the couple” the gossip supersite reports that “the environment around Mariah is toxic and [Nick] fears for his kids.” Umm, we’re gonna go ahead and say those sources are a little more “connected” to Nick Cannon than to Mariah Carey. Otherwise we’d probably never hear how Nick is “deeply concerned about Mariah’s emotional state.” There are also stories that Mariah’s lawyers have muzzled the younger Cannon as part of the settlement. Sounds like her lawyers might want to try a different brand of muzzle. Because we can hear Cannon loud and clear–oops, that is, we can hear “sources connected with the couple.”
